Airliance Materials Continues Exceptional Growth

Despite Industry Downturn, Company Realizes Significant Revenue Growth

CHICAGO, IL (April 23, 2003) - AirLiance Materials, a leading supplier of replacement parts and related value-added services to the air transport industry, reported recently that it achieved record revenue and profitability in Q1, 2003 despite the current air transport industry downturn. Originally created in 1998 by three of the world's major airlines, the Company became profitable just two years after beginning operations and recorded double digit revenue growth during FY 2002 while expanding global market share.

Speaking about the rapid rise and success of AirLiance despite the well publicized economic climate conditions within the airline and air transport sector, David Sisson, President and CEO, said, "Our continued growth during this period is not particularly surprising when you consider that AirLiance is structured to support its customers in a way that can positively affect their bottom line. By utilizing AirLiance as a supply chain partner, an operator can both reduce the cost of replacement parts and reduce the demand on its infrastructure concerning the logistics of global replacement part programs for varied fleets."

Roscoe Musselwhite, Executive Vice President of AirLiance, added, "Our consistently strong performance is also a reflection of our unique airline operational heritage. Our whole approach to the business, gained from operating a combined fleet that accounted for approximately 17% of total seat miles at the time of our formation, gives us a real advantage in offering our customers proactive solutions. This real-world experience is reflected in every aspect of our operation and is one reason that we are experiencing an exceptional growth rate among non-partner airlines. First-time customer airlines are usually surprised at the significant difference in terms of support capability and ease of doing business."

Created for airlines by airlines, AirLiance Materials is the leading supplier of replacement parts to the global air transport industry. The company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Airframes supported include Airbus A340, A330, A321, A320, A319, A310, A300, Boeing B777, B767, B757, B747, B737, B727, CRJ, MD11, MD80, DC10, DC9 and DC8. Engines supported include CF6, CF34, CFM56, JT3, JT8, JT9, PW100, PW2000, PW4000 and IAE V2500.
