Lufthansa Technik Purchases Shares of AirLiance Materials, Becomes Sole Owner

AirLiance to Expand its Reach and Services to its Global MRO and Air Transport Customers Under LHT Ownership

JAN. 12th, 2012… Lufthansa Technik has announced today that it has purchased the remaining shares of the other two owners of AirLiance Materials. Prior to the buyout, Lufthansa Technik owned a majority share of the leading spare parts provider, with United Airlines and Air Canada each holding a minority share in the company. The additional equity investment gives Lufthansa Technik 100% equity in the venture going into 2012.

Announcement Comes Shortly After Lufthansa Technik Purchase of All Shares of AirLiance

Chicago, IL, JAN. 12th, 2012 … Roscoe Musselwhite has been named President and CEO of AirLiance Materials, according to Wilken Bormann, Vice President Controlling and Subsidiaries of Lufthansa Technik (LHT). Mr. Musselwhite replaces outgoing CEO David Sisson, who officially retired at the end of the year.
